Terms of Service

1. Purpose
HypeStation ("the Service") is a discovery and hype service for video game trailers, with social features (friends, verdict sharing). These terms govern its use.
2. Acceptance
Using the Service and creating an account constitute full acceptance of these Terms and of the Privacy Policy.
3. Account
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- The information you provide must be accurate.
- One account per person.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity carried out from your account.
4. Rules of use
You agree not to:
- publish illegal, hateful, defamatory, or misleading content — including through your username or avatar;
- harass other users (friend requests, repeated unsolicited interactions…);
- use automated means (bots, data scraping) or attempt to bypass the Service's technical limitations;
- undermine the operation, security, or integrity of the Service.
5. Content you publish
Your verdicts, hype votes, username, and avatar choice may be visible to other users depending on the features used. You grant the publisher a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and display this content as part of the Service. The publisher may moderate or remove any content that violates these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
Trailers are the property of their respective rights holders. HypeStation does not host the videos: they are streamed via YouTube. The "HypeStation" brand, name, and visual identity belong to the publisher.
7. Donations
You can support the project via Ko-fi. Donations are voluntary, non-refundable, and do not entitle you to any consideration or additional feature in the app. They are governed by Ko-fi's own terms.
8. Availability
The Service is provided "as is", without any guarantee of continuous availability. Interruptions for maintenance or technical reasons may occur.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher's liability cannot be engaged for indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service, nor for the content of third-party trailers streamed via YouTube.
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the app. The publisher may suspend or close an account in case of violation of these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
The publisher may modify these Terms. Users are informed of significant changes; continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the version in effect.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first (contact: nespoulous.arthur34@gmail.com). Failing an amicable agreement, French courts have jurisdiction.
